Manual Windlass - 3/8" Chain Size

I want to buy a Manual Windlass to fit a 3/8 chain size. Low profile if possible, is best. Sailor Simon

manual windlasses can be hard to find used. there are very few new ones being made so old ones are in some demand.

one new one that i know of is the lofrans royal. here's a link to it at defender -

Hi, I just bought a Freedom 40, hull #25, 1979, and it has a Simson Lawrence manual anchor windlass for 3/8 chain and in full working order. I would let it go for 350.00 Can.
Maurice.

I have a Simpson Lawrance two speed manual windlass fitted with a 3/8" gypsy for sale in Melbourne, Florida. It works well and I could send a photo to anyone interested. I'm changing to electric.
I also have a 15hp two stroke Johnson outboard, just serviced, and a four man liferaft for sale.

It is in working order, with the handle, but needs painting. I gave $350, so I thought about $200 plus shipping. I've had a couple of inquiries, so I guess it's first come first served.
