Marine A/C unit

I have a 3 year old A/C unit for sale, 18,500 BTU. Manufactured by Flagship Marine in Florida to a much higher standard than your typical Marineair, or mermaid unit. Link to web site Self Contained Marine Air Conditioning Systems - Prices & Specifications
Unit is self contained, built on laser cut stainless base, heavy duty components throughout. Works flawlessly. New blower assembly 2 months ago due to problem I created. 5 outlet plenum, will cool up to 40' boat.
Paid over $3,000 new.
Sell for $1,000 plus shipping

Comes with digital thermostat, instructions and requires only a water pump, wire, sea strainer and ducting to complete. Extremely simple do it yourself installation. Excellent customer service from manufacturer.

Re: Marine A/C unit

The voltage is standard U.S. 110v, and the unit draws 15 amps at start up and around 10 amps when running. I have Dometic soft start units on the 2 new units I installed and they cut the initial amp surge to start the compressor by 60%.
