This is the exact motor that sells for around $1800 at West Marine. The only difference is the new ones have a built in 3 gal. tank and mine uses an external 3 gal tank that will shove my 10 foot Achilles with aluminum roll up floor with a 6.5 gal. tank tied to the bow, my 220 lbs., anchor and rode, bailout bag and underseat storage bag at 20 m.p.h.! (inland rules) or idle all day sipping gas every day for a month and burning 3 gal. It starts first EASY pull every time. It's too heavy for my wife and I to rassel with and we're happy at 5 m.p.h. with our two horse Honda.
