For Sale: Monitor Wind Vane in XLNT Shape

Hi all,

Since I have abandoned my plans to sail to the South Pacific, I no longer need this beautiful Monitor wind vane. It comes with 4 different wind vanes, mounting legs, and even includes the steering wheel adapter. I mounted this on my CSY 44 and then never used it. It has been stored inside for the last year or so, and is in excellent condition. It is Monitor#6168-1099.

I am located in SoCal, and local pick up would be really easy for me. I can ship it, but it will cost you the actual price of shipping and packaging, whatever that might be.

I am asking $2500. This includes everything except the mounting feet, which can be purchased from Scanmar online. It also comes with a spare down-tube, in case the vane rudder tube gets bent. More pictures are available upon request. I'm looking for them now.

Well, it appears that I am asking too much for the Monitor. So, the price is being lowered to $2000, and that includes the wheel adapter ($575 new).
