Probably sold for the market value of a used Monitor. They seem to sell for slightly less than $2,000. That's the beauty of Ebay, the market sets the price or it doesn't sell.

As a word of warning about selling on Ebay, don't ever put anything on Ebay without a minima bid price that you will accept. If there aren't any people looking for what you've got at the close of the auction, you might end up giving it away. Painfully learned that lesson on something I put up for bid and have been the happy recipient of a no minimum auction on more things I've purchased.
