We are selling our beloved Moody as our long-term plans have had to change for health reasons. We have owned and lived on board Stage Sea for 21 years, during which time her level of equipment and her maintenance has been kept as near perfect as possible so that we could safely rely on her at all times. We have crossed the Atlantic, cruising Venezuela, the Caribbean, and the East coast of America before returning to the Mediterranean and northern Europe. She is the boat I sailed as Yachting World’s Mediterranean and East Coast USA correspondent for 6 years.

Compared with many other 11 metre/ 36ft yachts, the Moody design provides very spacious and comfortable accommodation and, being 6’2”, one of the reasons I bought her was the full standing head room!

In addition to a Moody 36's usual spec, we have fitted 4 more hatches to improve visibility and to give extra light down below, and over the years we have made many improvements to many areas – from the rigging to the engine compartment – about which we are prepared to wax lyrical on request!

Stage Sea is an amazing sea boat, and quite simply a joy to sail.
