This chip was new Sept. 2012. Recently changed out our electronics to Garmin and don't need. Very detailed and extremely accurate in the Bahamas.

Interesting.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there was a thread a couple of months ago about a catamaran that went on a reef while trying to get into Elizabeth Harbor (Exumas) using Navionics software on their plotter.
I recall there was also note made of a disclaimer from the Explorer Chart folks saying they did not sell information to Navionics.

I think they mean C-Map. Navionics doesn't have N+ cards

Re: NAVIONICS NT+ DATA CARD, EXPLORER CHART: THE BAHAMAS

I stand corrected. It is a C-Map NT+. Thank you.

As for the catamaran going aground in Elizabeth Harbor, we were there and it looked like he was way off channel regardless of what type of plotter/software they were using.

We used this chip all winter and had no problems. Took our 5' draft sailboat all the way into Redshanks--past the first anchorage (where very few people will venture). It was right on target.
