Unhappy Need a Rudder

Hi all, I am in great need of a rudder for a 26' Balboa as mine was stolen! I have no idea what the complete setup looks like...I only know it is retractable or something...Any ideas where to start looking for one?
What a way to start this endeavor...with a hole in the back of my boat with cables and fittings hanging out of it!
Any and all info is, as usual, greatly appreciated. You guys here have been great!
I have my fingers crossed...

Re: Need a Rudder

When I replaced my rudder on my Laguna, I used a kick up rudder that I bought from http://www.ruddercraft.com/catalog/index.php
It sounds like what you're describing, and I'm sure they had Balboa's listed as well.

Thumbs up Re: Need a Rudder

Hi, sorry...I should have posted this before...My partner found the rudder...in a scrapyard about 5 miles from where the boat is. Cost me $50 to get it back...Dam crackheads!!!
Thanks for the good look-out...I don't know what I would have done...
Be safe and happy
