I've put a WebCam on the backstay and transmit to internet with a 3G (UMTS) Modem so I can transmit when I'm sailing the images on line

It's probably my computer, but I am only receiving an image change about every 20-30 secs.

It depends about many factors:
*My server speed (depends the local trafic)
*Your server speed (depends the local trafic)
*How many people is waching at the same time... this morning was a moment that there were 36 people.

That's pretty cool.

When you say you use a 3G modem, are you connected with a cell phone or do you use something else?

Cool. So are you docking or what? That was a big ship, where are you?

That would be awesome to watch in storm conditions. Does it work via satellite?

I'm not an expert on Internet...but it's like a extra phone with he's own pink card and telephone number only for dates...
