For Sale: Numerous Books

I have about a dozen and a half books in very good condition on sailing and cruising. Books on optimizing sail performance. Electrical Systems and Diesel auxiliary power are covered.

This is my first post on the forum and I do not know if it is even permissible to list for-sale items this early.

I am happy to PM you with a list. These books are going to go cheap!

Fours books for the beginner

Complete Book of Boats is a comprehensive reference to all facets of boating including sailing. - 3.00

Learning to Sail and sailing Made Easy are beginners books on sailing and focus in large part on small boats. (18 feet and under) 3.00 each

Then the last book is a funny tongue in cheek dictionary. 2.00



The book on the left is a book on how sails develop horse power and how that power is transferred to the hull.

When I sold my last boat it went to a guy who is an avid racer. He mentioned this book without being prompted. He did not even know that I had the book. 4.00

The book on te righ is a fairly generic paperback on various classes and designs. Images on every page. 2.00



Here are three good technical books. Two on electrics with a great book from Don Casey and then the book on the right which is dated so may not be useful to owners of newer boats. The Casey book has an excellent section on bonding and grounding and cathodic protection. The book n auxiliary power also has a section on electrics. It is fairly comprehensive as it includes power transmission. The book all the way on the left is the Boaters Handbook. Generic but still helpful.
