Palmer P60

We just bought a 28' Coronado with Palmer P60 inboard. We have an issue with the prop and decided to get an outboard and sell the motor with tranny and all gauges and controls.
Palmer P60 not sure what year it is but our boat is a 1974. Engine seems to have been installed later. The engine looks newly serviced and sounds like it has been taken care of. We are looking to get $1800 for it but not sure if that is reasonable for the current market. All offers considered and will deliver within a reasonable distance of long beach, ca and will try to accommodate shipping to other states.

hmmmm.... are you sure you want to go to an outboard? In choppy weather, you'll find the OB will raise in and out of the water and is a PITA.... just sayin'. It will also devalue your boat quite a bit....

We do not use the inboard because of prop issues which we do not want to spend on to fix, so it doesn't make sense to let a perfectly good motor just sit.
I agree it will devalue the boat and it is a more solid engine, but it is not worth the hassle of puling the boat out of the water to fix the prop. Outboard gets the job done and we try to sail most of the time, so we do not depend on the outboard too much.
