I have a phasor generator 3.5kw. It came out of.my buddies boat. He took it out of his boat when he sold it during the recession. It has @50 hours on It. It comes with the harness and panel . They weigh @ 180 lbs...it.has the stainless exhaust elbow as well. These are great little generators and they use the kubota engine which is really easy to get parts for and much less expensive. I have to apologize for my ignorance.
I was all set on buying this and installing in a gas powered cruiser until I found out it is not a good idea as the diesel gens aren't ignition protected. This could cause a big boom that I don't want. I will have to find a gas gen.

Diesel generators ARE installed in gasoline boats. A bit of google would show you how. They do not need to be ignition protected.
