For Sale: Please help find new owners for a wonderful boat!

Hello, dear All!

Recently we've placed an advert about the sale of our beautiful cruiser ketch laid up in Curacao.

But now the situation in our country turns out that way that we have to choose between buying food for us and our kids or paying the monthly fee to the marina... We just don't know what to do!

The boat is very specific - center cockpit, aft cabin, not a brand. But she is really wonderful, robust and safe! We planned a long voyage with her, that is why put a lot of funds and effort to totally restore her. Yes, she is 1974yb, but now she is like new - hull, engine, interior, rigging, sails, electronics - everything is BRAND NEW! In 2014 we invested USD 40 000 in restoring her!

We love her very much and want her to sail on, we are desperately looking to find a new owner for her, who would love her as much as we do!

Since we are in such a situation, we are not placing a price on her anymore. Just if you think that you like her, please contact us and say how much you would give for her.

This is really-really sad. But we rejoice at the thought that we can make happy someone dreaming about a great boat and not having enough money to buy anything decent.

We have just received a note from moderator that a sale post cannot be published without the price, so we have to write something.

To be honest, we would be quite happy to get USD 17,000 to pay for the broker, for the marina and return our copmanion his share in the boat. But, as already said, would be happy to concern any other offers.
