Pro Furl

I am changing out the furling gear on my Beneteau 400.

The furler is a Pro Furl Model B 35 M. It is in good condition and is currently installed on the boat. I am making a couple of assumptions, one that all the fittings are in good condition and the unit can be completely disassembled.

It has a 5/8 " lower pin, seven extrusions of 2000 mm and one of 920. It is currently mounted on a 3/8" forestay of 51' 7.5"

I replaced the liners in the upper swivel last year. It is complete including the two piece drum, drum cage and the wrap stop.

The unit will not be available until late September, 2oth

I have no idea of a value, I am thinking it might be worth $750.00 however I am open to any reasonable offer. Payment would not be due until the unit is ready to ship.

If you have any interest please let me know either PM or on the main list.

Again is the unit does disassemble completely the deal would be off or subject to change.

I can also include the old forstay for a very reasonable sum.

Re: Pro Furl

Hi Fletch...I've disassembled a few. The set screws are loctite in. Use a little heat from a propane torch and a fresh screwdriver or allen wrench depending...

Re: Pro Furl

Fletch,
I want to make sure you are using a 3/8 headstay. I have a CSY 37 I am upgrading and I am interested in your roller furler. My headstay just under 49'. What tape do you have on your sail. PM me if you wish with a price and cost of shipping to Cape Canaveral, Fl. Last of September will work for me.

Thanks,
Bill
