Profurl NC25 Roller Reefing System

I have a never used - in the original box - Profurl R25 Roller Reefing system for sale. It is normally used on a 18ft to 30 ft sailboat with a 1/4" (6mm) forestay. I purchased it to use for an inner forestay (staysail) and never got around to installing it. A new one goes for about US$1450 and I am willing to sell this one for $700.
See: PROFURL - sail reefing systems for boats (headsail, mainsail)
for a description of this type system

Re: Profurl NC25 Roller Reefing System

The maximum luff length that this R-25 unit will handle is about 309 inches or 25 ft-9 inch.

I have never opened the boxes but there may be an extra tube section which would give a longer luff.

Re: Profurl NC25 Roller Reefing System

I would say - yes.

You need to measure the diameter of your forestay wire/rod. Maximum size is 1/4 inch (6mm).

For different installation options and options based on your forestay rigging terminals/turnbuckles - see: PROFURL - sail reefing systems for boats (headsail, mainsail)

Re: Profurl NC25 Roller Reefing System

Probably it would help if you stated the make/model/manufacturer of the system you have and any description of what the missing part does. Photos of the system and the portion of the system that is missing will also help to identify your problem.
