I just added one of these to my boat, and I would never use a different auto helm ever again...it is great.

Yes it is the drive unit that attaches to the wheel. Hopefully, the two pics I attempted to attach will be viewable. If not, sent an email to konakoma@verizon.net and I'll attach them in a response.
