Re: Rope Polypropylene 3/8" x 600 ft

Forgot to add - - - This polypropylene line is used for anything where you need to keep the line floating on the surface of the water as opposed to regular line that sinks underwater and could tangle in stuff on the floor of the sea like rocks, coral, debris, etc.

The best use is for the mooring technique of "stern to the beach" which is used in the Caribbean and other places where the sea bottom drops down very quickly close to the shoreline/beachline. You would position your boat just off the beach next to where there is a tree, palm tree or something to tie one end of the Polyprop line to.

And then you drop your bow anchor and run the stern polyprop line to the palm tree/whatever and take it in until your boat is facing offshore and into the incoming swells or waves. This is why you get a 600 ft spool of the line versus using much shorter "dock lines."

The line is also good for Dinghy painters, life rings, throwable cushions and just about anything where a very light weight and non-sinking line is needed. The bright yellow color adds to the visibility so that other boats and locals don't get tangled in your stern line.

Re: Rope Polypropylene 3/8" x 600 ft

** Explanation or what we are listing ***
I have failed to mention enough times that ALL of the stuff we are listing is from our boat and has been collected over the years when I could sail and cruise. My terminal cancer has ended all of that so we are trying to find a good home for the stuff. Since quite a bit of it is "old" and no longer available or made, we thought cruisers might be interested - especially if you had one and now would like to replace your broken one with an exact or near duplicate and no longer available.
