Arrow Sailboat under $3000

Why under $3000? Because it's all I have for the moment and experience has thought me that if you want to do something you just have to up and, well, do it. So if anyone has a boat they want off their hands or are looking for a caring soul for their old boat please let me know. Something in FL in good condition is preferrable. I understand most of these will be fixer-uppers, so just let me know what needs fixing so I can get a budget done.

Plenty available. Places to look: ebay and craigslist online, plus local marinas, if you know how to figure out possible bargains that have been sitting for a while.

If you are handy and have an inexpensive place to keep the boat while fixing up. there has never been a better time to find a bargain IMO.

you could buy our 1974 tanzer 22 for 3000 - works great, need some TLC but you could put her right in the water and start sailing right away...only thing she is in Prince Edward Island a bit far from Florida

For those with more time than money there are lots of deals..they seem to come out of the woodwork. It's when you have more money than time that it starts to get expensive. San Juan 24 with new sails and out board (needed a little work here and there) went for $1000 (from someone who bought it a year ago for $2500) because the owner needed the money. Boats that have been impounded by the yard for back fees go really cheap too....just ask around the yard and such.
