What brand is it? Where did you get it? What does it attach to? Where is it located?

It's made by a company called Balanced Yacht Sysems -- it bolts to the cockpit transom an it is located in NJ

I'm trying to find more information about the seat (how it mounts, etc) and I can't find any reference to Balanced Yacht Systems on the web. Do you know if they still exist?

I do not believe they exist anyomore -- I would be happy to try and answer any questions you may have. I have additional pictures -- regarding how it attaches, the "swing plate", which is fixed, bolts to the transom -- 3 boths -- you might ned to trim up a piece of wood to "shim" the angle of your cockpit to the plate, but that would likely be straightforward -- see the attached pictures for a better idea -- one shows the backing plate from the back, the other shows the seat "rocked" to one side.

Also, if you are "nearby", you are welcome to come and look at it.
