Simpson Lawrence (Lewmar) Sprint 1000 Windlass

This lightly used windlass came standard on my 2000 model Saga 43 sloop. It was used for about 6 years but has been sitting in my gear locker since I upgraded to a larger model. Was never overloaded, never tripped the breaker, always washed down with fresh water. If you're seriously interested I can shoot a video of it functioning when connected to a battery.

$700 includes:
Dual direction solenoid
Lewmar Dual Direction Contactor Winlass Solenoids 12V PM

Hand held up-down switch (might be open to selling that separately),

70A breaker,

Original manual,

And of course the complete windlass with rubber motor boot.

Located in So Cal and will deliver locally or ship at your cost (it's pretty heavy!)

You can call me at 949-350-7861 or e mail to rtn1 "at" mindspring.com for more info. Thanks for your interest!

Re: Simpson Lawrence (Lewmar) Sprint 1000 Windlass

Sorry, I should have put the chain size in the post. It's set up for 5/16" High Test (same as G4).

I would estimate the unit weighs approx. 30 lbs. If you need an exact figure I can weigh it later this week.

Thanks,
Roger

One more detail, the unit is designed to accommodate a rope to chain splice using 9/16" three strand line. I have a pdf version of the manual including all specs that is too large of a file to post here, but I can e mail it to you if you want.

Windlass has been sold but I still have the hand switch, control box and breaker if you're interested.
