Re: Stainless Stuff

I am interested in the 2 bases. I need to install a safety bar in my galley to clip onto in rough seas. Do you think they would work for that? What is the diameter of the bases?

Re: Stainless Stuff

If the $25 includes shipping its a deal! Otherwise I would make an offer of $20. What say you? Thanks, Wally

Re: Stainless Stuff

They would work very well, The base is 3" round, 2.5" high and accecpts 1.25 tube. If you you were worried about strenght or movement you could put a 4" square backing plate behind the fiberglass, either plywood or aluminum, I like the later drilled and taped, that way you can hold the plate on the fiberglass with exopy or butyl and then you can alway tighten from above.

I bought them for that very purpose however I used rectangular bases in the end.
