Ok got to take measurements. Our staysail is
Luff. 38
Leech 19
Foot 12.9 (staysail boom is 14)

I'm surprised at the difference in measurements, we are 44 on deck with a 5 sprit making us 49. When I lay the geometry out you staysail well overlaps our mast.

So I don't think it will work. Where do you sheet this sail?

Are you 100% sure of the dimensions? Something seems odd.

Jib was not made for our boat. Bought it as a package from another Forum member.

Ok thanks. I just got confused when you said it was too small.
