We are hoping to move to a trawler, so, after 10 years we are selling our Sparkman & Stephens staysail sloop, shoal draft (5ft) Scheel keel, designed for ocean-cruising but can sleep six! New bottom-paint and zincs done annually.
Used only a few hours in 2009-2012, but many upgrades pre-2005 trip from Vancouver, Canada to Mexico and since, including new Main, Storm Jib and Trysail with track; new standing/running rigging and lifelines; Profurl NC42; solid teak-strip sole throughout; mast steps; electric windlass; custom twin bow-roller assembly, ComNav 1420 below-decks autopilot; Monitor windvane re-furbished by mfctrer; hatch acrylics; galvanic isolator; twin 120W solar panels and controllers; Bass switch panels w/ LED monitors; cutless bearing and stuffing box; bilge pumps, Garmin 182C Chartplotter; Hurth Gearbox, diesel and water tank cleanouts etc
With SSB, Pactor, full cockpit enclosure, bimini and dodger, MaxProp, nine sails and A-1 condition this boat is ready to go cruising! Similar vessels (but less well-equipped) are currently on yachtworld for $90-115K
