For Sale or Trade: UK prefixed PLB

Bought a new Mc Murdo PLB via a UK online supplier and now have a 2 year old unregistered unit as the Irish reglatory authority will not accept a PLB with a UK prefix. Its theoretically possible to get this resolved via a helpful Irish chandler but such an entity has proved elusive.
Wasn,t too bothered until a I recently discovered that activation of an unregistered PLB is likely to be ignored.
Interested in a swap for something useful or sale.
