Want To Buy: Used vane for ST60 Raymarine wanted

Hi all, I've managed to loose the vane of my windvane. Replacement is Raymarine Part Number# A28167 to suit a ST60 system. Does anyone have a second hand vane laying around please. Don't really want to fork out for new. Cheers, Roy.

I looked high and low for a cheap one, figuring the spinner gets broken more than the vane, but no luck. I assume you are aware there are 2 styles - the one part number is for the egg shaped model. There is also a more cylindrical one.

Thanks for the search. I need the complete arm. Seems like it's managed to com unscrewed and work it's way out of the 5 pin socket on the masthead.

Be wary of second-hand units. They have sensitive electronics and fail frequently. I have one on my masthead now that gives wrong readings.

Hoping to find one that someone has upgrade from. Been sailing without it for 18 months and not so critical on the cat as a mono but currently have the mast down for re-rig so good time to fix all the top end bits.

You can put the newer model on. You may have to adjust the wind speed calibration.

I have two used wind transducers, one is a ST50 which will work on either a St 50 OR 60 and the other is from a ST60.

I know the ST50 is fine and the ST 60 was reported as fine and I would have it checked prior to selling it.

Either could be had however I am away from my boat until January 5th or 6th.

I have a used complete instrument. 4 years ago, mine was not working but I did not know why. The boat was about 8 years old and I had the mast down and decided that while I was upgrading my other instruments I might as well go for a new wind instrument and cable rather than do a patch job. I have no idea why it was not working - it could be any component or maybe it was a bad cable or loose connection.
Make me an offer.

I have a ST50 vane that functions with no issues. All the bearings spin freely. PM me if interested.
