Wanted: charts and spinnaker pole Qld Aus.

I am looking for charts of the Qld coast, cruising guides such as A. Lucas Coral Coast, Patrick Curtis Coast etc.

Also may be interested in modestly priced spinnaker pole, spinnaker and a couple of self tailers in GC for a 33ft maasthead yacht.

Re: Wanted: charts and spinnaker pole Qld Aus.

Are there any flood wrecked salvaged boats with the equipment you are seeking? We find all sorts of stuff here following a hurricane. I was told you could get inflatables in need of a patch job by the truckload. ALSO, our marina saves abandoned or broken/replaced rigs. They often make spars from these.

If you google used sails you will quickly find about a half-dozen re-sellers. I have also found that you can get new sails from lofts where the original buyer failed to complete the purchase. Another source is to check out the racing clubs and find one of those guys with more money than brains who replaces sales that still have a lot of life in them.

Thanks for those ideas. There were some terrible floods and a cyclone recently - lucky for me most damage about 500kms north. So there may be some salvage gear on the market.

Go to you closest chandlery (or go on-line) and order spinnaker pole ends. Go to Ullrich Metals or Capral Aluminium and buy a length of aluminium tube to suit you ends. = cheap functional spinnaker pole
