WANTED Sewing Machine

Looking for a sewing machine to complete a few projects this winter. Prefer the LSZ-1 but am open to other brands. Anyone ready to get rid of theirs?

Re: WANTED Sewing Machine

I have a lsz-1 clone with the 9 inch arm (not the usual 7 inch) with the Sailrite Monster Balance wheel. I don't use it any more because I bought an industrial machine. $400.00 plus shipping.

Re: WANTED Sewing Machine

Look for used Pfaff 130. I had à LSZ sewing machine and was tires to continuously adjusting the machine.
The Pfaff seriously surprises me, it CAN sew the same thickness, it is so quiet, unbelievable and you can find one for less then 100$.

Re: WANTED Sewing Machine

Yup...I have a Pfaff 230. A very serious strong machine. Bought it used for $75 and put $75 into it with a service. A good German machine with external motor, like the 130.

Re: WANTED Sewing Machine

Pfaff 138 is another good choice - its throat is wider than the 130, but it's a heavier machine, less portable than the 130

a friend sent me this link to a factory liquidation, don't know whether the auction is still going on

Re: WANTED Sewing Machine

I have a Pfaff 130, that needs a motor, I would sell for $100, plus actual shipping from 34224
