There are tons of good cats around under half a million. Look at 2Hulls or the Catamaran Company listings online.

What is the footage on the Gemini 105's ?? There is a demo here in Naples, around 32 feet? for 175 thousand..

I do understand those models have a funky daggerboard setup which can break if you ground them a few too many times.. and have to haul and expensive to fix..(x-2)

33'6" IIRC

I guess you could call it funky. Rather ingenious if you ask me. There are two (one in each hull) that crank down with a winch handle. If they hit the locking nut loosens automatically. They are buoyant so, float back into the housing. I have not personally checked that feature out yet though.

In my experience with sail boats (limited compared to many here) things under the water usually "break if you ground them a few too many times."

It is a "price point" boat, like all of them, with some well known "gremlins" but one reason for that is that there have been over 1000 built to date. That is a lot of folks comparing notes.

My friend has one here that he charters and complains about the dagger board setup being complicated if rope breaks or jams etc. There is one of those Gemini 105's in Naples.. a demo for $175.000 Upgraded from $145.00 or so the broker says..
