Wanted: Wind vane, solar panels, watermaker

Want to out fit 40 ft Ketch to live aboard. Attempting to be self sufficient.

Based on your question on the Monitor thread, I think what you are looking for is a wind generator to make electricity, not a wind vane to steer your boat.

Solar Power Kits For RV And Bus Conversions is the best source, price wise, that I found for "Kyocera" which are highly recommended.

yes thanks John..........we did purchase a wind vane and are still looking for a wind gen that also used the water to create power..........one at both end so to speak. and will check out your site Eric. Thanks fellas

Our 3 130 watt Kyoceras are fantastic and provide all lighting and refrigeration needs. They were exposed to 55 knot winds and showed no instability.
