Want To Buy: Wanter: Monitor Windvane

Ahoy!

I'm looking for a Monitor wind vane system for my sloop. I'm in Seattle, and will happily pay for shipping from anywhere in the U.S. (I work for FedEx and get a discount).

I'm willing to buy, or I'd also be willing to trade... I recently refurbished a 100+ year-old 15' wood Chesapeake Bay Sharpie dinghy (sprit rigged, craftsman-style ketch). It's truly a beauty of a boat, but I didn't have any real plans on what to do after I fixed it. I just needed a project to get me through the boredom of last winter. Unfortunately, you'd have to be in the Puget Sound area to arrange for a trade.

Lemme know if anyone has any leads on a windvane!

There are lots of windvanes attached to boats at Shilshole Marina that never seem to leave their slips.

I have a nice clean one in St Augustine. I believe was made in 1996, but not on a boat for over 8 years.
