The unit is operational yet needs membranes and some work to bring it back to be fully functional. If you want to take as is, I will sell for $1000.

Yes, however let me explain what I know so far. It was on my boa, it ran during survey and I did not use it. I assumed it needed membranes and Village Marine gave me an estimated value of $4000. Since then I did have it removed and it was inspected at Village Marine Tech in Ft. Lauderdale where it remains. They tell me that it needs a few parts, one of which is a salinity monitor which is around $800 and the membranes for $285 each. An optional remote station but stated that when the repairs were made that the system would run perfectly. Therefore, I lowered the price to $1000 and 3 people have interest. I am waiting for the official estimate via email and willing to share it upon receipt. They are prepared to ship the unit to the buyers location (buyers expense of course).
