Hey John, We have a lot in common, was wondering what problem you are having with your perkins and what model you have. I also have a perkins in my boat, it is a M-50, and I may be able to help if this is the model you have. I was also a Firefighter/EMICT in a former life.

I sheared the head off a small bolt atop the anti- stall device while bleeding sir from the system. Foley quoted me $163 for a new device. I ended up getting one from TAD for $92, screwed it in, and it runs perfect now. It is a 4-108
