Website and/or Server Work

Taking my keyboard into sailing, on a budget. I'm an Open Source enthusiast and contributor, hence advices are FREE.

First please allow me to introduce myself:
- keyboard within reach for about 20 years, 6-18 hours/day;
- self-educated, keen to learn, non-native English speaker;
- proficient in most used web technologies: html, css, php, mysql;
- experienced in online freelance work, freelancer.com account since 2007;
- co-owner and maintainer of a small data-center, IBM/Linux based;
- proficient in all hardware and LAMP software related matters;

The ugly boat-related websites I've seen are NONE! Yet, most could offer more besides the content, in terms of usability, functionality or graphic design. There are huge online communities developing very powerful and FREE website platforms and templates, used by many major web destinations.

My offer is simple: the crate and bottles are free, you have the beer, I can fill them! Will help with simple jobs for a virtual beer. No fixed fee, no strings attached, feel free to ask.

Fair winds and no downtime websites,
Catalin

Re: Website and/or Server Work

No-one needing a small fix? A font changed? Some template adjustments?

I see many websites where it's obvious the editor has to master HTML and CSS to create links and integrate pictures. A script that can automate all these and provide a full text editor you could use without any web design knowledge is free!
