Selling a Westerbeke 8K 8 BTD diesel genset. It is still in the boat so I can fire it up and load it up. It holds voltage AND frequency just fine. Runs good. 1576 hours. Includes gauge panel and waterlift muffler. $2900

Not sure the year of manufacture. I bought the boat 2 years ago. I have limited knowledge of the history. I do know it runs well. I had my diesel mechanic look it over. It holds voltage & frequency when loaded to about 45 amps. Haven't rigged a heavier load than that.

G'day, Mates, I have a 1984 8kw model coming up on 5,000 hours with very minimal maintenance over the 12 years that I have run it. Change the oil and filters around 150 hours. I have put new bearings on the water pump">raw water pump and replaced the fresh water pump. Also give the heat exchanger a good cleaning out around each 1,000 hours. Cheers.
