Wilcox Crittenden Casting

I need the main body bronze casting for my Wilcox Skipper head, mine has corroded internally and will not pump any more. Remind me to ground the next one. If you have something I could use to rebuild mine please let me know with the price you require.

Hmmm--grounding, eh? I have the Groco EB, and never gave grounding much thought.
Except during the flush, there is no current path, I would think.
Interested to hear your thoughts.

Any metal in contact with the outside seawater is subject to galvanic corrosion, not to mention the human urine. I have the means to measure how well a boat is protected, mine is great with the truhulls looking like they did thirty years ago alas my Skipper was left ungrounded and the inside is bad. Finding a spare has not proved easy.

My installation was without a vented loop. Not good, besides thirty years of flushing, even with each flush only lasting a few seconds would be enough to do it. I have owned my boat for two years and have installed vented loops both in the intake and the holding tank discharge. All plastic head at the moment which is not anywhere as good as the skipper
