Hey Doug,

Hope you guys aren't giving up on the dream. Just noticed the house trade. If you do sell and settle ashore for a while we will still look you up when we get to the PNW.
We were hoping to be there next year but that is going to depend on the situation in Japan.

Not giving up the dream. Looking for another boat and want to head for Europe.

As for being new to boats: My wife and I went from a 29' Alberg to the Formosa 51. It took a few weeks to get the feel of dock approach and her manuring characteristics. My wife and I sail her just fine by our self.

Regarding loans: We put a substantial down payment and our credit union financed the rest.
