This may be a dumb question to the more mechanically literate but can you elaborate on what a 4.3 might be? I assume that may be the displacement or model number but from what maker?

Is it fresh water cooled? If so why not Chevrolet, Advanced Auto, Pep Boys, or any other suppliers of short & long blocks

a 4.3 is a gm 350 cid. with 2 cylinders missing....the only difference between a marine long block and one you put in a car is the brass freeze plugs...they are common everywhere ..........
