WTB: F-27 Trimaran

I'm looking for a reasonable deal on a Corsair F-27 trimaran, the closer to Florida the better. Anybody know of one?
Thanks,
Mike

There are often several in the Finnish Line yard on US 1 in Stuart...They sometimes have good buys. Sellers sometimes leave them with the brokerage and semi-abandon them. But Corsairs hold their prices but are well worth the price if you want raw performance.

Moondancer - Thanks, but I'm aware of the various commercial possibilities.
I thought I'd see what might be out there by a private seller.

Dont know if the Dragonfly's have got to the US yet, but they are a great Tri (28 and 32ft models if I recall correctly)

What is really neat about them is the ability to quickly fold the floats close to the hull, and take up no more space than a normal mono. Furthermore, as they fold, the floats press down and provide really good stability to the craft.

If you come across one, I really recommend a look if you are after a tri.

donphall-

Thanks for the offer but I'm looking for something to sail up here on the St. Johns river. We have to unstep the mast on the big boat to get home and occasionally it would be nice to be able to go out for a daysail.

Thanks again,
Mike

yes the Dragon fly is a nice tri but you cannot pull it out of the water like a f-boat! And they cost to much..
