WTB: Xantrex Prosine 2000

Hi folks,
I burned up my old unit by overloading it and need a replacement. 117VAC to 12VDC - Prosine 2000 Inverter/Charger. If you've got one you want to unload, please contact me at once.
I don't get internet all the time so use saeta@sailingflamenco.com
thanks a lot,
Richard Black

Sorry, I don't do email on forums.

An inverter shouldn't burn up because of overload. It should have automatic protection for that. So you might want to switch to an inverter with better design...

ciao!
Nick.

Well, it shouldn't have burned up, but I abused it a bit. At any rate, I am in Spain and not in a position to re-engineer my charging system - I just want to reconnect the wires and be back in business......

Question

Hi - I wanted to bring this post back up to the top for a minute because I still need one of these. I'll be back in the States this summer and so it won't be necessary to ship it to Spain.
Anybody want to get rid of their Prosine 2000?
Regards,
Richard Black

One more time.....

Hi,
I'm bringing this up to the top for the very last time - then I'll give up. I still need a Prosine 2000 - I just want to unhook the old one and hook up the new one. I'd prefer a used one because I need the price to be way better than the $1500 for a new one.
Please.......time to clean out the garage.
Richard saeta@sailingflamenco.com

Thanks....

I'm removing mine and replacing it with an Outback FX2102. I'm not really fond of the Prosine 2.0 - it generates a fair bit of RF interference. My default plan is to move it to my mobile lab, but am open to selling it if you haven't already found one. Available in a month or so.
