yanmar parts

i have a 4jh2e older yanamr i need the injector pump ?? where can i find one ,, a new one is like 1600 bucks and the shop says a bad plunger but need to replace all if them and will cost within 100 bucks to rebuild as a new one costs ,, any advice would be appreciated

I cant tell you specifically about your model but I went thru the injection pump rebuilding process on my YSM8 Did it myself, got parts from toad marine supply. Plunger & barrel & delivery v/v was like 134$ vs $315 for pump. However if you have lotsa time to search the net look on aliexpress as you can buy Chinese plunger & barrels for $15. Have no idea of the quality or longevity as I couldnt locate my particular model. I would have tried them if I could have found them tho. If you are in a hurry dont bother with China as it's a hair-pulling exercise trying to deal with people who have English as a 2nd language & just want to sell you anything not necessarily the right part.
