Crew Wanted: 2012 Med

I am 59 & retired and planning to spend the next couple of years cruising the Med. I know its a little early for this forum but I would love to start touching base with people who might be interested in joining me for all or part. I am busy selling my house in Canada right now, but have good expectations that will wrap up by early May. I am then intending to come to Europe and find a boat (40+- 2005+- Beneteau?) that is well equipped to take me wherever the whims suggest. The first legs of the voyage will depend on where I find "the" boat.

I have a fair bit of coastal experience in BC, Canada but no real off-shore.

Also, should you have any boats to suggest that are on the market please let me know.

Looking forward to getting to know the community out there on the Med seas.

Great, I trust you can swim (just a necessity for boats).
In the meantime have a drool over "Francescos Mediterrean Voyage" - eyecandy documentary from BBC.

We are a team/couple (Capt/First Mate)/(First Mate/Stew/Chef) with years of blue water and Med experience currently cruising our own boat, a Mason 43' in the Caribbean. We are considering selling our boat and going as crew with someone else. Would this be a paid position or pleasure? We would be interested in either.
