Anyone need an extra crew member?

Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and just wanted to say hi and ask what the best way to find people that may need an extra crew member for a pacific crossing?

just my opinion

You could start right here. However, you should present a little information about yourself, like any sailing experience you have, when you would be available, some personal informatiion of at least a telephone number to exchange conversation.

How old, what sex, would you travel to meet the boat, are you willing to familiarize yourself by going for a test sail? List attributes you can give to the success of a pleasant sail, etc.

I say this really, not only for you, but for anyone wishing to crew on any boat.

After all, both the captain or owner and you; should make certain you have the details and expectations worked out before you set sail..

Hi Covel007

I googled: crew positions boat

numerous web sites came up that would be useful to you in finding a boat to crew on. One is crewseekers.net - you should be able to find a boat to crew on without much effort.

cheers

I know of two boats standing out from Bellingham WA on Sept 17 in need of crew going South to the HA HA. These are not paid positions or charters, just a couple of cruisers needing crew.
