We could do this trip if flights were covered. We can fly out of St Maarten or Miami. We are currently chartering in Belize but will be doing a week charter in St Maarten in mid April. PM me or call 011-501-602-2945

Re: Brisbane to Bali April/Mai

Hi there!
I'm definitely interested in your offer!!!
I'm a 27 year old french woman, easy going and dynamic. I already have done some sailing in Brittany and Med but I still have a lot to learn, specially english terms!!! I love cooking meals and cakes, discover and learn everything, so I can help you with the boat maintenance and cleaning.
What would the conditions be?
Thank you
Laurence

Re: Brisbane to Bali April/Mai

Hello Laurence,
lovely to hear from you. You have a lot already, which makes you a valuable crew member. Mmmmh, cooking, then some sailing and being adventurous.
Yes, the tour will be interesting and maybe even sometimes challenging.
Well, you would need to pay for your flight to Brisbane and back from Bali wherever you want to go to. Then you need to come up for your food and drink expenses and that would be it. No fuel share, no fee share related to the boat transfer to Indonesia. You will have to join in all sailing related activities and sometimes spend a few hours per night at the helm, hopefully only a few nights anyway.
Best regards, Ramon - and please send a bit more info (photo?) about yourself to
. thank you )

Re: Brisbane to Bali April/Mai

hi Laurence,
have not heard from you and want to know if you are stIll interested to go Brisbane - Bali.
If so, that would be great because I just noted that you said earlier already that you like cooking and baking. Yummmi !!
In a few days I will apply for the cruising permit in Indonesia. For this I need copy of crew's passport and 2 extra, passport photos.
Please tell me about your plans.
Thanky, - Ramon

Re: Brisbane to Bali April/Mai

hello hello
ive been working in north india for the past few months in a volunteer capacity and am in desperate need of some rest and relaxation. im 23, an avid sailor, i coach dingy racing in the summers and have spent about three months at sea on 30-50ft cruising boats. im as interested in the reefs as the sailing and am interested in diving if you need a partner, or freediving (preferred) if you dont. if you are still looking for crew let me know and I can give you the personality pitch... but honestly their are very few people i dont get along with, even when stuck on a boat together.

cheer.

Re: Brisbane to Bali April/Mai

Thank you Ben,
at the moment it looks as if I've got 'the band together'.
However, it is still over a month to departure. I will know in about 10 days if we are indeed complete. If not, I will give you a hoy.
Cheers, Ramon

Re: Brisbane to Bali April/Mai

Howdy Ramon,

Listen I'm interested in your trip to Indonesia, I understand you the positions may already be filled. However on the chance that any of the crew falls through allow me to tell you a little bit about myself.

My name is Aaron I am 25 year old musician and luthier from the Southern Highlands NSW Australia. I have not long finished a double degree in Education/Design and Technology and I'm feeling pretty footloose. Hence the romantic idea of a world randonneur through Indonesia, South East Asia, India, the Middle East, Europe then onwards down through Africa sailing home from Cape town. I spent my childhood sailing hobie cats, and trailer sailors with my parents but thats about the extent of my experience, however I an able and willing learner and I'm should you'd find good use of my hands.

If you'd like more information or photo's you'll find me on PM
(can't work out how to attach photo's on this forum)

Look forward to hearing from you, Kindest Regards.
Aaron Wales.
