Hi, I'm a 28 year-old male American, just arrived in Bali after traveling across Java, and I'm looking for crew positions to pretty much anywhere. I have only small boat sailing experience on lakes but am looking to try my hand at longer sea journeys and am eager to learn.

I've been working in Beijing for the last five years and want to travel and sail for a while before eventually heading back home to Boston. Nope! Well, I met one guy at the marina who offered to take me on a trip to the Banda islands if I contributed 300,000 rp per day, but other than that I haven't got any bites. I think I will give it maybe another week and then fly out of here since my visa will expire soon. Maybe head to Cebu island.... Supposedly there are boats there?

@ Jrosen, Hey mate, I might have a spot for you in my boat sailing from Darwin to Cairns. I leave on the 31st of this month. At the moment i'm waiting to here back from 2 other people who might be keen, If so ill choose one. But in the mean time I'm chasing all options rather then sailing single handed.
