hi alan, it's me who is sorry for this misunderstood, for sure that girl of the photo is ugly, you are right.
i apologize for my post about your comment of being drunk to look at any ugly girl, for sure it was in a joke context which now i understand.

anyway, i want to state again my disagreement with those crew who enlist their beauty to get a position; as well with those freak boat owners who want to set those cute boys/girls aboard.

regards.
carlitos

ps: for sure, admin and moderators are doing great job in here, and i love fun too! sorry if i disturb anyone.

Hey Carlitos, this is one of the best, if not the best sailing forums out there. I did take offence to you ridiculing our well respected moderater Alan who has made more post full of knowledge than anyone out of thousands of members. That's comparing you with only one post with no credentials,it didn't carry any wieght. Granted some of my post are light hearted jokes, but I mean no harm. Anyway, Welcome to the forum.

I took no offense at all and in fact, Carlitos was not the only one that had taken my post the wrong way. So I must not have been very clear.
Carlitos does bring up a very good comment however. In regards to the way people "promote" either themsleves for a crew position or a postion for crew. This is something that us as the Admin/Mod team keep a very close eye on in the ackgorund. In fact none of you will have known, but even in this particular thread starter, we actually had originaly pulled the post to our "quarenteen" area and discussed it at great lengths before reposting to here. Our conclusion was to keep a close eye on proceedings, in case some wierdo came out of the woodwork. But time has proven that so far we have no such worries and it is really nice to know that we have a very good community here. I know of some boards that this kind of post brings out the nutters and we simply won't tolerate that here.
