Crew Available: Dutch couple looking for new position

Discrete, loyal, energetic and hard working Dutch couple. Both 38, fit and healthy, non smokers, occasional drinkers, Padi certified rescue divers, clean drivers licences. We speak Dutch, English, French, Spanish and basic German.

After succesful, international (Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom, China) careers in finance and real estate we dicided to escape the rat race and change our lifestyle. We traveled for an extensive period if time and ended up in Uruguay, South America. Here, as a personal investment, we have set up and managed a 25 hectare olive farm with the main goal to produce high quality, extra virgin olive oil.

Now this is all up and running, we are ready for our next dream/adventure, which is cruising the world. In a few years we hope to own our own sailing vessel but before that we want to gain as much experience as possible over the next few years in order to become proficient at all levels.

So far we have made one trip from Panama to Galapagos on a 43 ft Beneteau, assisting an Australian couple for a part if their trip. We assisted as deck hands, line handlers during the canal crossing, assisted with night watches, provisioning, cooking, cleaning, maintenance etc.

We are very committed and presentable self starters, positive people who work well in a team environment.

We are independent, flexible and available immediately for as long as you would possibly need us, wherever you are or would like to go!

I just found your details on the cruising forum.

We are looking for an experienced crew to help a friend sail from Newcastle NSW to Adelaide SA.
The 12.5 M steel ketch is ready now in Newcastle.
The yacht has just sailed south from Bundaberg.
His assistant was an eager back packer and has to leave the country shortly,
He realised he had to see a few sights before this.

The skipper is very experienced and has a relaxed attitude.
He has completed 2 circumnavigations and very many other navigations
