yeah it's amazing what can happen if you log off for a few days. All of a sudden there is a lot of reading to do. But things are looking good on the ride front turns out there was a bit usefull info among all your comments

Well... Ditte came down on Wens to meet up and take a look at the 'Pocket Rocket'...
Very nice young lady.. great personality, enthusiastic, witty and a ready smile..
Oh.. and she does have 'boat time'.. pottering round the islands.
Unfortunately she's unable to start this trip as we go before her term completes.. and.. being a long haul on a big basic ex America's Cup boat it may be a little daunting once the 'Buzz' eases..
Anyway.. I reckon she'd make an all right addition to a ships roster..
She 'may' link up in Lisbon..

Re: Female Biology Student with an Urge to Experience the Vast Oceans

Ditte,

I am in Raja Ampat, Indonesia at the moment with 5 crew between ages 26-33 on board. However, everone will depart the boat in Bali and I might be looking for some crew from there to Malaysia/Thailand via Kalimantan and Singapore in November and December. My crew have all been on board since we left New Zealand five months ago. Send me an email at jwsmith81 at gmail dot com if you want to talk about it a bit more.
Cheers
Jesse

Yes well - I try to have the right attitude I am working as hard as I can to make it to Lisbon but unfortunately danish holidays are keeping my thesis supervisor out of reach. As if writing the damn thing in time wasn't difficult enough :/ I am doing what I can though.
