Crew Wanted: Fiji to New Zealand November 2014

Hello,

I'm looking for one or two crew to help me sail my 42ft monohull to Opua, in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand, from Lautoka, Viti Levu, Fiji.

My wife, baby daughter and I have sailed from the UK, over 17,000 miles. They are jumping ship in Fiji and flying to NZ so I need some extra hands for the approximately 10 day passage.

What I'd ask would be a contribution to food costs, a good amount of positive energy to bring to the trip and preferably some sailing experience. It should be fun!

I would be interested but it would be dependent upon my work swing. I may be available from 12th Nov.
57 years old, lots of coastal sailing experience and yacht ownership. Master mariner class 1 and NZ+British passports.
Unfortunately I wont be able to confirm until probably a week before that date so don't turn anyone down waiting for me!

You sound like you could be the sort of person that I'd like to have on board. Have you had any ocean sailing experience, and what's your longest passage at sea? Also a bit about what you do for a living and what size boats you've sailed would be helpful.

Just curious if you are still looking for someone for your Fiji-NZ journey? I am looking to get to NZ around the end of November. I do not have any sailing experience but I would love the opportunity to learn something new.
