If you are looking for crew, there is a nice guy who has always helped me out in different ways. Check out the website of the Caribbean Sail Training Association. I don't know about a skipper, but he usually contacts me every time there's a crossing and someone needs crew. They are based at the Maritime School of the West-Indies in Marigot. Also ask around Bobby's Marina, I believe there are some nice people there looking to crew and be skipper. I'd say Simpson Bay isn't really the place to be, as there aren't many reliable people around in my experience. I'd say you got a good shot if you hang around Philipsburg for a while. If you are really desperate, let me know as I'll contact some people who will keep an eye out for you.
