Iceland

Let's go to Iceland this summer. What do you say?

I'm in the UK now, but I can be elsewhere if you're leaving from there.

I've got experience, I can cook. It'll be fun.

This is probably a long shot, no?

If anyone knows anything that could help me out here, that would be swell. E.g, where would most people stop if they were going from Europe to Iceland? The Faroes, I'm guessing...

Re: Iceland

Good luck with getting to Iceland. As a little background I suggest you read Tristan Jones book 'Ice'. Reputedly he made the first solo circumnavigation of Iceland in a sail boat.

Hard to know what is real and what is fiction, but he certainly did make the journeys he wrote about. His trip started in London and he went south via the English Channel, up the West Coast of Ireland, up through the Hebrides then direct to Iceland.
